It was great to get out of the routine of life and spend time together in an unhurried way. It was good to be active too, exploring God's creation, the rock formations, river gums, wedgetail eagles and the stars. Are the stars, there really are a lot of stars out here when you get away from the lights of town. Here are some photos from the trip.

Mutawingi
This week the men from the community headed up to Mutawingi National Park for a couple of days. We explored the place through some of the walks, shared about our own journeys and what it meant to be a man of God, ate an excellent camp oven meal, talked around the fire, swam in and jumped into rock pools. Mutawingi is surprisingly beautiful place considering where it is and how dry the surroundings are. You can see why the aboriginal people used to gather there.
